"I enjoyed my stay. The room was awesome, the grounds were clean. The only thing was, the back door was not locked even though the sign said it would be locked from 7pm-7am. I didn’t even see a lock on it. "

"Much improvement since change of ownership to Hilton, we travel through Winchester a couple times a year and have always stayed at this hotel which was under another name. Not sure if all renovations have been completed but it would have been a plus to have a chair (small office chair) instead of a small leather stool which was the only seating available at the work desk. Secondly the refrigerator was seating on the floor (small fridge) had to kneel down to access, there was a shelf rigt there in the same area the would have been a perfect spot to place the fridge. Minor adjustments which I hope the will get domne. Overall a great + expreience at the Spark !"

" The rooms are set up very strange; however there was plenty to off set this bizarre set up. Let me explain further about the room. The bathroom shower, and sink are all behind the bed. The set up is very much like that of a European hotel room and that is very modern and very space conscious. Hotel opted to go modern throughout the entire building. This is kind of strange when you’re in Winchester, and you’re there to enjoy the mountains and history. The bathroom door has a sliding door. You don’t really feel like you ever have any privacy. There is a glass partition inside of the shower , so anyone in the bedroom could see the outline of the person showering. The bed was comfortable. The room is very clean. The AC unit as any hotel, was very noisy. Overall, the hotel was quiet, very clean, and the staff was very friendly and helpful. We opted for this hotel on a whim, and we definitely use it again if we’re looking for the jets to position between European , modern styles and the Rolling hills of historic Winchester. "
