Parque has plenty to keep you busy, but don't restrict yourself to only one place. Rent some wheels and hit the road to see what else awaits in the wider region. Here are some great options we've come up with:

• Culebra is around 50 miles from Parque. Popular attractions like Flamenco Beach deserve to be high on your must-see list while you're in town.
• Next stop? Make it Garrochales, which is around 35 miles away. Bosque Estatal De Cambalache is one local draw card you won't want to miss.
• Playa Uvero is situated 120 miles from Parque and is one of the region's most beautiful nature spots. Go for a wander around and enjoy the fresh air.

If you don't hold a driver's license issued in Puerto Rico, then it's likely you'll need to get an International Driving Permit (IDP) in your place of residence to be able to rent a car. Also consider that if an IDP is required, it won't be valid on its own. You'll need to show your driver's license from your home country your passport and other forms of identification as well.
