“I'm selfishly hesitant to write this review due to hotel size and availability; would like the hotel to stay the same and not deteriorate from overuse. Hotel is in a great location, lobby and room decor beautiful. Atmosphere great. Mattresses not great. Hot water comes and goes. If they fix this great, but if they don't, the hotel would still be my first choice whenever I'm in PR. Love it. I'm a General Manager of a large hotel and appreciate the thought and effort taken by hotel owner and staff……

“Excellent location ! Shuttle bus is free to breaches and old San Juan. Front desk staff great upon check and offering many recommendations … the drawback is no fridge or microwave in room and the TV channel selection is terrible / very limited. ”

“The food was terrible. I ordered chicken tenders and fries from the bar. The tenders looked like they had been baked and then burned in a pan instead of dropped in a fryer. They were stuck together and raw in places. The fries were baked as well. The grab and go fruit on the breakfast bar were rotten. Pool was nice, hotel was clean, staff was helpful and nice.”

“What a cute little room! I was pleasantly surprised. I had room number 9 upstairs. The room was clean and tidy and pleasantly decorated. The bathroom was quite large- huge shower with hot water and good pressure. There was a bench to leave my open suitcase on as well as some wire shelving and hangers to store more clothing. There were bath and beach towels in the room. Although I didn’t need beach towels, it was nice to know that they were there if I had more time to visit a beach. The location……

“Beautiful, unique place; very clean; in a fantastic location in the heart of Old San Juan, adjacent to Fort Cristobal; restaurants nearby; 24 hour desk; cute library; excellent rooftop area with views. The negatives were: our room wasn’t ready at the 4 pm check in time so we had to wait; the next day housekeeping didn’t leave a bath mat towel or wash cloths. We didn’t notice until about to shower. We asked at the desk and they said it would be sent right up and never arrived. Our room was nice……

“First, the staff is outstanding. upon arrival Dylan checked us in. This young man was professional but more importantly super friendly. He provided us with great information about the local neighborhood and some super dining recommnedations. The rooms are very clean and spacious. Room has all the basics a traveler would need. The downsides to staying at this hotel range from the overpriced drinks and food to the resort fee added to the end of the stay bill. A gin & tonic was $18.00 as opposed to……
