We really enjoyed our stay. Everything worked well. I would suggest putting hangers in tbe room and a hook on the bathroom door. The service was great.

Great for a budget hotel

This is an economy hotel but the room was clean and looked freshly updated. It was a large room an apartment size fridge and the bathroom was renovated and quite nice. Great hotel for the price.

Nice place to stay

The outside looks like the hotel room will be outdated but to my surprise the room was nice and the bathroom was renovated. It very clean. I would highly recommend this place.

A part of the community

I stayed on Fourth of July and they had a nice community fireworks show and everyone was gathered around. The room was clean and quiet ( other than the Holiday celebration.)

The place was great. The room was clean and well equipped. Me and my wife went there. We loved the place. We initially booked a two bed room. But, the manager of the motel upgraded us to a king bed room and we loved it.

Guys who ever needs a great, friendly, peaceful, cozy, and affordable place to stay I’m artesia, Budgett inn is the place to stay. Their rooms are spacious, super clean like mom and grandmas house, and the staff is so welcoming and friendly. The owner Andy is a great hostess and his family are so great to make you feel at home. The place is always nice and quiet and no drama. I can honestly say thee beat hotel for a great rate in artesia. I always stay at the Budgett inn or if they are super booked I go to their family’s second hotel La Hacienda trust book it you won’t regret it. Thank you Andy and your family for always making me feel welcome and comfortable.

Ok for price but needs better attention to detail

Paid for two queen beds but got full size. It was a precarious night trying not to roll off. Of the 4 lights in the room only 2 worked & they were weird LED lights that you had to turn on and off a bunch of times to get to work. Door to adjoining room was open (could see right into next room) and did not lock securely so if we had gotten neighbors we would have been nervous about the door opening. Only ice machine on property is broken. Overall it's a decent place for the price and it was reasonably comfortable. Just attention to detail on the rooms is lacking.

The first room was not ready. Beds had been left from the previous people. Was move to another room. It had a very bad odor of cigarettes. Tried spraying cologne to cover the smell. The shower was nice but no soap or shampoo. Dispenser was empty. Was 10pm and no other rooms available there or near by. Would have drove to the next town but was too tired. Very terrible!

reserved for two nights but my kid was born a day early and i had to leave after one night. they told me they couldnt refund to call expedia. Called expedia and they said that the property manager is the one who makes that decision and they said no they couldnt do anything about the 1 night. front desk also is not very helpful
