“The front desk host, Karen, was friendly and very efficient, but the hallways were very dirty and out room smelled like dog. It was also dirty. There was some kind of stain on one of the walls that looked like someone threw coffee on it; the long dressing mirror was dirty; the shower was dirty and had hair in it and looked about 10 years overdue of a remodel. We would have asked for a different room, but its was Oktoberfest, so we knew we wouldn’t have much luck. All in all I guess it was good……

“The cabin was the perfect weekend getaway for me and my husband. We were in the area to kayak the Kickapoo River and the cabin was close to where we launched (about 8 mins). It was cozy to relax in after 12.5 miles of kayaking. We enjoyed sitting outside, seeing wildlife including a deer, and hearing an owl at night. We plan to be back!”
