Royal Whitby
Booked a cosy room with a sea view though currently there is scaffolding on one side of the hotel but still ok. Our room was basic and very dated. Bed was comfy enough though and the shower also good. The tv in our room only had bbc channels unfortunately. Room was okay for a one night stay.

Station Suites
Was easy to find and a convenient location to access the centre of Middlesbrough, including the football stadium if you are there for a game. Room was good value for money - only comment is it had a small kitchen area but no wardrobe to hang up clothes..,not the biggest issue as it was only an overnight ...

We (4 siblings and 3 partners) spent a very enjoyable 4 nights at Larpool Mill. As previous guests have mentioned, the road outside is closed which makes for a very peaceful stay. Dale View Cottages
The room was very small and the bed was a small double which again is small. That been said shower was very good and the location was good I clearly got it wrong as I thought we were getting what now looks like the cottages and not a room. That was my fault and not the owners
