"We just wrapped up a fabulous stay at the Hyatt Regency Hill Country Resort & Villas in San Antonio after spending the previous week at the JW Marriott Hill Country Resort & Spa nearby. The difference was night and day. From the moment we arrived at the Hyatt, the staff greeted us with genuine warmth and helpfulness that continued throughout our entire stay. The customer service here is outstanding—friendly, attentive, and proactive in a way that made us feel truly welcome and cared for. It was such a refreshing change after our disappointing experience at the JW, where the friendliness and overall service fell far short of what we expected. The resort itself is beautiful, with a relaxed Hill Country vibe, spacious and comfortable rooms, and fantastic amenities. We loved the pools, lazy river, and the peaceful grounds—everything felt well-maintained and inviting. Whether you're here for relaxation or family fun, this place delivers. We left much happier than when we arrived, and we’d happily return (and recommend the Hyatt over the other option in the area). Thank you to the entire team for turning our trip around!"

"Nice front desk staff clean comfortable rooms. Unfortunately our room wasn't cleaned both nights we were there. Also the shower design creates a lot of water leaking onto the floor. The bath mat wasnt enough to keep the floor dry so we had to use another towel to keep the floor dry"

"Great hotel "

"I am writing to formally raise a complaint regarding my recent stay at your property. I originally booked a two-night stay for $263; however, I was ultimately charged $362. When I returned to the front desk for clarification, I was told there was a $20 parking fee. This fee was not disclosed during booking, nor was it mentioned at check-in. In addition to the unexpected charges, the condition of the room was unacceptable. Upon arrival, my child found a dirty sock on the floor, indicating the room had not been properly cleaned. When I reported this to housekeeping, their response was dismissive and unprofessional. There were also multiple maintenance issues. The toilet did not flush properly, and the air conditioning unit was not functioning. After contacting the front desk, maintenance was sent, but I was told the issue could not be fixed at that time. Instead, I was provided with a fan, which did not resolve the problem. Due to time constraints, I was unable to relocate to another hotel. At checkout, I was informed that I would receive a reimbursement; however, I have not yet received any refund or follow-up communication. Given the undisclosed fees, poor room conditions, and lack of resolution during my stay, I am requesting a prompt reimbursement. Please provide an update on the status of this refund at your earliest convenience. Thank you for your attention to this matter."
