Great location at a reasonable price. The staff was helpful and friendly. It is a historical hotel which means no air-conditioning (Never got that hot, plus there is a ceiling fan) and no elevator (great exercise walking the 3 flights! Plus, staff helped carry luggage.) Very clean and comfortable. ...
The staff was soooo kind and went out of their way to make our stay enjoyable. The rooms were clean and comfortable.
Friendly staff and convenient location. Room was basic, but clean and the bed was comfortable.
The rooms were clean and nicely decorated. No microwave or fridge made it a bit inconvenient.
Cute little place. Nothing fancy but quaint, comfortable and clean. Staff is helpful and extremely nice and accommodating. Would stay here again.
Beautiful landscaping in planters and tiled walkways and stairs!
I loved it. It was very nice and clean just didn’t like the long hill to get to the room lol
The rooms were small, very confining. Not many options with a room with w2 beds in it.
I love how nice our room was and how updated the bathroom was also the deck was a bonus!
There’s nothing nicer than discovering new sights on vacation, and Catalina Island Museum is an excellent place to start.
It is situated in Avalon.
If you have your heart set on staying within 2 miles of Catalina Island Museum, there are 12 hotels or resorts to pick from. Just 0.09 miles away is the Aurora Hotel & Spa. The Hotel St. Lauren and the Glenmore Plaza Hotel, 0.2 miles and 0.1 miles away, are also worth considering.
Put your feet up and treat your taste buds at Catalina Coffee & Cookie Co, a favorite pit-stop not far from Catalina Island Museum. Searching for something a little more substantial? Antonio's Pizzeria & Cabaret is a worthwhile restaurant in the area. And finally, head to Bluewater Grill. Have a couple of wines and chat with the locals.
