We were in Clearwater for a week. We stayed at the Hilton resort to start with and we wanted one more extra day and we chose ChartHouse for the location. I was beyond surprised on how this hotel impressed us from the beginning. Jacquelyn, Venessa, and Angie are top notch amazing staff behind the front desk. Above and beyond to accommodate me and my family.
First the overall look. It’s a brand new hotel, and smells new. Like walking into a new home new, loved it! The brightness of the front desk is amazing. The room itself, the flooring, the super comfortable beds, the furniture, and the motion sensor bathroom lights…all put this a 10/10. We loved the view from the balcony overlooking the docks. The pool was cold bc of the over cast the hotel puts up but there is a perfect hot tub to relax in and see the view.
What makes this hotel an 8/10. We were on the second floor and unfortunately…the vibe we got, was it’s a party pool hotel. I mean they are blasting jimmy Buffett on outdoor speakers all day until 11 pm…When you are on the second floor, have an 8 yr old who needs to sleep..you can hear every bit! She couldn’t fall asleep till 11:30. Now…they did offer us to move but it was already 10 pm and that would’ve been rough. The staff did accommodate us very well but honestly the hotel should change this. At 9 pm, close up the outdoor music and party vibe. Plenty of late night bars down the street or inside the restaurant. If the vibe is a party hotel…don’t be a family hotel.
