"Rooms are large and designed well. The rooms are quiet and the hotel was full. The breakfast was very good. Lots of options and the seating was plentiful. The hotel needs to be updated and in need of repairs but the staff is obviously good and trying hard to make the stay a good one."

"I have always assumed a Clarion would be very good to stay at. This place is under renovation and was rather dissapointing to stay at. "I loved the stsff here...I first spoke with ashly when trying to reserve a room. .. she went out of her way to answer the questions i had and relayed info to oncoming staff in morning so as to no confusion .. the following morning when checking in .. Christina the manager who tok over was the same in regard to customer service .. as was stacy who made us feel welcome and go above and beyond to make our experience a great one ! Kudis to the staff .. i woukd also like to say your maintenance man was also an added bonus as he was very helpful in regards to can i help you ma'm .. just acknowlegding and respect that you dont find much these days .. thank you i will be back ! "

Clarion Inn & Suites Central I-44

"I have always assumed a Clarion would be very good to stay at. This place is under renovation and was rather dissapointing to stay at. I understand that renovating is a total hassle for a motel and that it inherently will not be as sparkling clean as usual but it would have been good to know before arrival. Now for specifics. The main elevator didn't work, the breakfast consisted of microwavable sausage biscuits, orange juice in a pitcher with ice that was melted and so made the juice watery and cold cereal. No soda machines in the whole building. I really believe the employees were trying to make the best of a bad situation because we were asked several times if everything was ok and I believe when the renovation is complete this will be a fine motel once again and I would probably give them another chance. One thing to be aware of, if you book through Expedia and pay with paypal its like pulling teeth to cancel or change your reservation. "
