"We drove up at night and were nervous it was not in a nice part of town .. it was behind a gas station by a ravine/canal but in the daytime it was perfectly fine!!!! So cute! The landlord was so helpful. The water had been turned off by the city for some unknown reason and she sent over a plumber right away. Couldn’t have been nicer. Place was great. Had to mk my own bed, the sheets were not on the bed.. which was weird. But at least I knew they were clean!"

"We have stayed at Shepard's retreat many times now. It is a beautiful country setting but near several cities for dining and entertainment. However, we love just spending our day outside around the pool or pond just relaxing. There are also sheep and a burrow for the kids to watch in the pasture."

Inside was so well decorated, the beds and pillows were comfy, the house was set up for entertaining, the ice machine was my favorite… I honestly could feel the southern hospitality without the host even there! I didn’t love the power company being our view in the front yard but really we didn’t use the front at all bc the back was perfect! Great stay, very updated, great communication with host! I highly recommend! We walked to Dt Tuscaloosa, the strip and campus too!...

"We came to town for an Alabama football game and this house is only 8 minutes to campus. Also lots of restaurants close by."

"The Host Nikki was super nice and super easy to deal with. Instructions were clear and perfect. House was great. Reminded me of home. Lots of amenities and all worked great. House was clean and well stocked. Especially liked the outside space. This stay made my Daughter’s graduation special and special memories were made here.
