This Place was a joy to stay at. The wife and I appreciated the details they took in the remodel. The rooms were cozy and clean and the young lady and her son who helped us with our luggage up the stairs were a delight to our day. If you want to be close to the Train Depot for either your departure stay or your arrival stay in Chama I'd say thi sis the Place. Thanks for a wonderful experience.

The room was comfortable, and charming. Staff was very nice and helpful , The Food at the hotel was excellent !! We stayed 2 nights and ate there both nights it was so good .. We had a very nice young man Milo who served us he was awesome. We enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend it the whole experience including the train ride was fun.

The room was clean, totally did not realize there was no a/c but we always travel with a fan and the mornings were cool. They said coffee at 6:00, left room both mornings at 7:00 and still no coffee

The room was immaculate, the towels were plentiful and plush, the food is excellent, the vibe is friendly and laid back even when extremely busy, and the service was genuinely friendly and helpful. I'd definitely stay again.

The Iron Rail was a unique place to stay. The rooms are tiny, but well decorated and maintained. It was hot in the room and we slept with the windows open all night and the fan running. Thank goodness it was a rainy night, so the weather was a little cooler. The light had burned out in our room and staff was unable to change it, so it made it dark when getting dressed. There were no towels in the bathroom when we got up the next morning to shower with, but my husband found some in a closet down the hall. Overall, it was a fun experience.
