“We really enjoyed Lazy Creek Cottage. It was the perfect weekend for our son’s Univ of SC and we loved staying in the Chapin/ Lake Murray area. The property was impeccably clean and the location idyllic overlooking the lake. We used the paddle boards and the hot tub. Jesse, the property manager was great. We would stay here again. “First and last time at this hotel. Staff was beating on the door at 10:30 at night to verify book rooms? No extra towels, no extra pillows no ice machine. Staff was rude. Night front desk attendant was extremely rude and quite entitled. First floor, stank of marijuanaIf it’s the only facility around, I would rather sleep in my car. Stay away from this property.”

“This is definitely a hidden gem here in the city. This is my first time staying here and it definitely won't be my last. I've been displaced due to a house fire and this hotel really made me feel welcome. Everyone was so friendly. The only complaint I have I told the front desk staff at check-out. I don't feel a need to add it here b/c it has been taken care of. I will be booking again in a few weeks while I wait for my home to be repaired.”
