Entire Home l Chick Inn on Main

Fully immerse yourself in Summerville's small town charm! Our 1890's historic home is within walking distance of local shops, restaurants & parks. Enjoy watching our chickens during the day--We leave you with plenty of fresh eggs during your stay! We customize your stay & make it one to remember! Add-on services available: Fully stocked kitchen with your groceries prior to your arrival, charcuterie boards/table, professional photo session, etc. *Parties and events are not allowed. Each bedroom has its own private bathroom (4 bedrooms + 4 private baths), fully stocked with shampoo, conditioner, body wash, towels, & hairdryers! It sounds too good to be true, we know, but we promise it's not! :) In addition to the 4 bedrooms, we also have a "study" with a twin-size daybed, fully made with bedding. Our home very comfortably sleeps 10 people. 3 bedrooms downstairs (King + Queen + 2 Twins) and the entire 2nd floor is its own master suite (1 King + 1 Twin upstairs). You will have full access to our home. We love personally greeting you with a warm welcome upon arrival but we promise you won’t hurt our feelings if you prefer a self check-in instead! The front porch is one of our favorite spots for some cozy downtime and true southern living! We're around for whatever is needed. I love to check guests in and show them the cute details of the home, as well as point out all of the complimentary goodies! Our home is located in the heart of Summerville's Historic District, within walking distance of local shops and restaurants. We have ample parking availability on-site. Our property is very spacious and private, surrounded by amazing neighbors. We are an easy 25 minute drive from the Charleston International Airport (CHS), 30 minute drive to Downtown Charleston, 40 minute drive to a variety of beaches (Sullivans Island, Kiawah Island, Folly Beach, Isle of Palms), 15 minute drive to beautiful plantations (Magnolia Plantation, Middleton Place). Uber and Lyft are also readily available throughout the entire Charleston area, including Summerville and our neighborhood. There are chickens on site (no roosters, we promise). You will find a dozen fresh eggs from our "girls" in the fridge when you arrive. We will happily leave more eggs for you by the back door, as needed or requested during your stay! We love fur-guests!! Simply add your pet to your booking and a nominal pet fee will apply, but we will make sure they feel equally right at home!

Check Out the Chick Inn
If you are planning a visit to Charleston, check out the Chick Inn in Summerville. We were in the area to celebrate a wedding at Eden @Graceland in Walterboro. We selected this house because of its location because of its close proximity to the venue and to Charleston. We also selected the home because it was able to accommodate multiple family members We really appreciated the hospitality of the host The accommodations were inviting and comfortable. We so enjoyed the real live chickens that live at the Chick Inn They provided us with many fresh eggs that we used for our breakfast. The host also provided us with fresh quiche and yummy fresh banana bread We also were able to prepare many of our meals in the well equipped kitchen and we enjoyed them together at the large farmhouse table I would highly recommend this house to families visiting the area Make sure you book it early because it is very popular!

Like staying at a friend's house
I am not sure words are adequate to express how much we enjoyed the Chick Inn. We needed a place to stay for our son's wedding. Becauae there are 10 of us it cam be hard to find a place. We also needed a place to host a pizza party rehearsal dinner. Thia place was perfect. I felt like i was simply borrowing a friend's home for the weekend. We loved all the full baths because it made getting ready a snap with our big group. The kitchen was amazing. There was everything we could need and more. The open floor plan made hosting a crowd easy . We loved the big front porch. Unfortunately it was so hot we could not stay out long. I hope to be back sometime.to enjoy the porch. We really appreciated the fact that we could order our groceries and get them delivered before we arrived. Overall i highly recommend this property

Fantastic Home!
We had an amazing girls trip - Monica could not have been a better host, leaving us fresh eggs, home made banana bread, ham & cheese quiche, plus amazing coffee, tea and a selection of sweeteners and creamers. We didn't even need to stop at the store (except to buy our alcoholic beverages :-)). The house is even more beautiful than the photos, so comfy, wonderfully decorated, we even had bottled water and chocolate kisses in every bedroom - no detail was left out. While we spent a lot of time in Charleston (which is amazing), we loved having our wonderful breakfast on the porch, and came home to cocktails on the patio or in the comfy living room. The chickens were fun to watch and were never a bother, we were able to walk to town for some of the great restaurants, and we were lucky enough to be there for the Summerville Flowertown Festival, and bought so many hand made gifts. We have been doing this annual trip for almost 10 years now and this is one of our favorite vacation rentals (if not #1). Thank you Monica for making our trip so magical!

Hoops and Coops
Our family was in town for our daughter's wedding. There was plenty of room for our son, his wife and children, our daughter, my husband and me. This place was perfect for us. Our grandchildren had an absolute blast. Everything that's advertised is so, and actually more. This house has yesteryear charm with modern day amenities. Our grandchildren, ages 2, 5, 7 and 13 really enjoyed the Chicken Coop. They gathered eggs, fed the chickens and had a high ole time. The grandkids even shots some hoops with Monica's boys. Our hosts, Monica and her family are some of the most friendly and welcoming people ever. We didn't have any issues whatsoever. We would definitely go back again.

Fabulous Experience
This house is the absolute best place to spend time while in Summerville or Charleston. The host is fabulous with suggestions of fun things to do and great places to eat in the area. She is quick to respond to questions and welcomes you into her home. The house is a great place to gather with friends or family and is everything you could ever want. The furnishings are comfortable, and your stay will be perfect. If we are ever in the area again, we definitely will stay here again. I know I'll be back.

Terrific Thanksgiving location
This is an awesome house if you are looking to have a large gathering of family/friends. We spent Thanksgiving 2021 here. 10 family members from different states and 10+ Family members locally gathered for Thanksgiving. The house is tastefully decorated and Monica adds touches that I’ve not seen before in the many houses rented before. Her attention to our specific family was greatly appreciated (dogs included); house is very clean. The chickens outside were very entertaining; we enjoyed the fresh eggs! I can’t say enough about Monica….she was so attentive and readily available to answer any questions. She made us feel very much at home! Highly recommend if you are looking for a home away from home! Thanks so much Monica!

Loved Everything About Our Stay
We chose this home in the beautiful Summerville Historic District as the location for our annual girl's trip. Everyone in our group agrees that this was the best place that we have ever stayed. To quote a couple of the girls: "the hosts are unbelievable and the house is remarkable" and "I love absolutely every inch of this house". Everyone is still talking about the homemade quiche and blueberry banana bread that we found upon our arrival. We will be back and we highly recommend.
