After about 10 minutes of technical difficulties, they gave us new keys to a room that did not work either and we ended up having to go back down to the lobby to fix this. Once we were in our room that was supposed to be ready, the maintenance men had to come in and replace the TV remote. The TV was also unable to play any streaming services or smart cast from an iPhone, which seemed outdated for a Holiday Inn and considering the price of the room. The bathroom was also not very nice as the toilet seat was broken and the shower basin had been painted over to seemingly hide rust, but the rust was still showing in various areas.
