Handy for city attractions and Usher Hall. Staff very helpful. Special mention for Max at reception helped us find reasonable car parking nearby and let us check in early as the room was ready.

My ground floor room was very large and more like a suite but the view from the window was of 3 dumpster style bins and weeds. The quality of the non branded breakfast items wasn't great. I was only staying one night and the tariff was reasonable and the downsides wouldn't stop me from returning. Overall I was satisfied with my stay and my gripes are easily fixable, hence the star rating.

After all those negative feedbacks I was worried but I have to say the hotel surprised me otherwise. My kids felt extremely comfortable and actually enjoyed it much better then their previous more modern hotel stay in London. They absolutely loved the kind and very helpful receptionist , they felt immediately at home and really enjoyed the few days they spend in this old world charming place. Additionally it is in a perfect location every sight in close walking distance. Yes it is old but that adds to it's charm and it shows but it is clean and very comfortable. Thank you for being part of making my daughter and her friends trip a success!

Bed and shower were clean. However, the rest of the room needed a clean and was very dated and tired looking.
