Top Chatham Hotel Reviews

White Pine Lodge

White Pine Lodge

10/10 Excellent
"This stay was far better than I'd hoped. Room was spacious, carpets clean and while not brand new, very nice. Best bed I've slept on in a hotel or motel, including ones far more expensive. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The mini-store located on site was a huge help getting basic necessities. The continental breakfast is iffy -- juice was out while we were there, and pickings are somewhat slim -- but that's not why we stayed there. They do not make up your room while you are there, so be aware, but they resupplied us with towels and toilet paper on request. Not a ton of frills, but an inexpensive place that makes a great base of operations to explore the Upper Peninsula."

"Great hotel to stay with our family. Staff was super friendly and helpful. Hotel was clean and comfy. It was also very quiet overnight, no slamming doors and loud hallways. Would stay again if in the area. One thing to note was we visited during a busier season but the hotel didn’t seem to adjust their breakfast inventory to accommodate the full hotel. And the pancake maker was broken throughout our stay which was a disappointment for the kids. Nothing that would hold me back from staying."

"Small rooms but overall quaint and comfortable. Plenty of outside sitting area and each evening they make a campfire. Private beach that you have to cross the highway and walk five minutes to. Only 25 minutes to the porcupine mountains. Overall great stay and would recommend."

The Beach Inn Motel

The Beach Inn Motel

10/10 Excellent
"Loved the waterfront lawn and ability sit by the water and watch the world go by. Only two negatives about the stay. First was dog noise caused by crappy neighbors who went exploring and left their dog to whine/bark the whole time they were gone (don't bring the dog if you're not going to keep it with you). One other item that I struggled with: Each room had two doors - front door to parking lot and back door to lawn/water. Back door had a deadbolt. Front door (which is more exposed) did not. Was also no night latch. Not gonna lie, felt rather exposed and frustrated that this inexpensive security item was not in place. That's the one thing they really ought to get on."
