“First class property. Great dock on the water with lights for night fishing. Caught a few gar at night. Full kitchen, large TV, ice machine, and the best cleaning station were great amenities to have. If you plan to watch football, plan ahead and use an account like Google TV. Had to use emergency override to operate the lift. No big deal once we got it figured out. Would definitely stay there again. ”

“I was headed to Grand Isle for a birding trip and stayed overnight in Golden Meadow as the hotels on the Island were expensive and most wouldn't book a one night stay. Southern Breeze Lodge was perfect in every way, from the friendly ladies in the office to the clean room, comfortable beds, and convenience of having a gas station, GoBears Grocery and Noble Roman's Pizza all within walking distance of the lodge! I recommended it to all my fellow birders and will definitely stay there again.”

“When you check in make sure they have you accounted for your entire stay. My daughter had four nights stay with Expedia and Hampton only had her for three nights stay. Her card was charged for the four nights and had to convince the Hampton people she was right. They insisted she had to call Expedia about the matter. Not no but no way. They finally acknowledged that she was right. A customer should be given more acknowledgement up front and not have to completely keep explaining that they have……
