“This place was a perfect place for us and our 4 young children, ages 12-4. They played soccer in the yard and watched the sheep while we were there, and it was close to Colorado Bend State Park. It was fun to go to the park during the day then come relax in the evening and watch/listen to the sheep, make some dinner, and watch the beautiful sunset in the evening. We all slept great, too, thanks to the solitude/darkness/silence of the area and the beds being comfy enough! The stars were amazing. ”

“A real gem sits nestled back in the liveoaks off Hwy 183 north of Lometa with immaculate landscaping, picnic tables, a giant outdoor chess set, and the cutest 3 ft pig you've ever seen. The home is immaculate and so lovingly decorated - and it feels like a home, not a house. Lori has done a wonderful job equipping the house with all the essentials plus some wonderful extras. A basket with snacks, water, and some great Lometa tumblers welcomed us. And the bed is beyond belief comfortable - we……

“This easily could have been a 5 star stay but the cold weather had a big impact. The pipes froze overnight on the 2nd of 3 nights so I didn't have water the last day and a half of my stay. The main tv was broken and had to use a smaller one on the side table. Also the fireplace heater was broken and the small portable heaters could not keep up with the cold, when I woke up the last morning it was probably 45 inside. Again, nothing that could be controlled by the host. I will definitely be coming……
