"The property was of a basic nature and very tired in places. The bathroom paint was peeling off the walls. The bed was a small queen bed that wasn't big enough for 2 adults to get a good night sleep. The mattress was very thin and uncomfortable. Due to this we left the property early and had to book a hotel. I also tried to contact the property as advised by Sykes cottages, but my calls were unanswered and not returned. Overall a disappointing stay. There are plenty of better rentals available."

"We have used Hotels.com many times and Sykes cottages a number of times this past year al very good and this was excellent. The booking was easy but the owner of this cottage was excellent in communication and instructions ( Gaynor ) there isn’t enough I could say and we had the privilege of meeting her when she did midweek check on jacuzzi. "This accommodation was great , listening to the water running in the river was very therapeutic. Definitely return to Dee Heights and will recommend family and friends to stay here ."
