“The pictures are accurate as seen on the website . However, the amenities left a lot to be desired. The six bath towels were good and the 7 washcloths were horrible as some had bleach stains on them and they were very thin. No hand towels were provided to dry your hands on in the bathroom. Nor were there paper towels in the bathroom for that purpose. The other rooms were clean but the bathroom needs a deep cleaning . No cleaning products were provided either. ”

“The house was normal. No major issues. We were told there would be a washer and dryer, but it did not have one accessible. It appeared to be in the garage, but the garage was locked and no one would respond.Our check in was 3:00 pm on Friday, at noon on Friday the company managing the property tetzy? told me that I needed to provide everyones first and last name and their cell phone. Seemed strange. 1. Why wait until the last minute and 2. Why do you need everyone's contact? I saw this request,...

“The home was beautiful and felt very new, up-to-date and modern. The home, as well as the location, were lovely and peaceful. We were in the area for a wedding and had other family members in another VRBO. We were all able to come together (apprx 16 of us) at this home for hamburgers on the grill and to sit back, relax and enjoy marshmallows over the firepit later in the evening. ”

“House was clean and matched the pictures. Ben was very friendly and prompt with messaging. I would stay at this house again. ”

“We enjoyed our time in Chicago. The house was great and had lots of space. It was easy to get to and from downtown Chicago. Check in and communication was great. The parking was street parking but we never had an issue finding a parking spot. There wasn't really anything within walking distance but that was fine. Overall this was a perfect place for our family.”

“Conveniently located just south of downtown. The space was cavernous! Plenty of room and stylishly decorated. Good communication from the host throughout our stay. ”

“Our family of 4 plus dog had a great stay. Easy drive into Chicago. The neighborhood is very quiet and the fenced in yard was perfect for our dog. Interior of the house is nicely done with newer appliances and 4 bedrooms with queen beds in each room. Would stay there again. The grill was missing a propane tank but that was minor and Host offered to bring one for us.”

“Listed as private home , once you get there and read the house rules it states shared refrigerator with owner. Owner comes in while you are gone and turns off all lights and the Ac, even goes into your locked room to turn off ac.”

“Our stay at the 1919 Cabin was absolutely wonderful! The home is beautiful, thoughtfully designed, and created such a relaxing atmosphere. Our guests felt comfortable and at ease throughout our visit. Everyone at the club was warm, welcoming, and attentive, which made the experience even more enjoyable. We truly can’t say enough great things about our stay and are already looking for another reason to return. Thank you!”

But, the best part was walking in the home and smelling (and seeing!) how clean it was on arrival. ”
