The staff were friendly, and we appreciated being upgraded to a better room, which was a nice touch. However, there are a few areas that need improvement. Firstly, there was no internal door lock in the room. On the afternoon of our check-in day, while we were resting in the room, a staff member unexpectedly opened the door to check the air conditioner without any prior notice. This was quite uncomfortable and affected our sense of security, making it difficult to sleep well that night. Greater attention to guest privacy and communication would be appreciated. Secondly, the power outlet layout in the room was inconvenient. Apart from the bathroom, there was only one power socket located under the TV, and none near the bed, which made charging devices at night very inconvenient. We booked a plan that included breakfast, but the actual breakfast was quite different from the photos shown on Hotels.com, which was disappointing. While it was acceptable as part of a breakfast-included package, it would not be good value if charged separately at AUD 35\. Overall, the hotel has good potential, but improvements in room safety, layout, and transparency would greatly enhance the guest experience."
