"The staff there was really lovely The room we stayed in was not really kept well and the upkeep was a bit poor and it was not the cleanest. The breakfast was nice it was a breakfast buffet next door. The gym was small but decent for a workout The pool sauna and jacuzzi was amazing, steam room wasn’t working when I went though or was not set up "

"The room was clean and very compact, it lacked appeal but had most of the amenities you would want at this price. There is no interaction with staff at all as self check in, the heating wasn’t on although the radiator in the hall was hot, one curtain hardly covered the window, my room,2, was at the front of the property so people leaving the pub were talking loudly at 11.30/12pm and then again at 1am which woke me up, the shower was good, the wash basin so tiny you couldn’t get the tiny kettle under the spout to fill it. It is what it is for the price "

"The Stable is without doubt one of the best places I’ve ever stayed. The location is absolutely beautiful, and even during Storm Dave it felt wonderfully cosy with the wood burner glowing away. When the storm passed, we were treated to blue skies and wildlife all around—so peaceful and calming. I could quite happily live here.Everything we needed was thoughtfully provided, and the cottage itself was immaculate. The host was also very friendly and welcoming."
