“I don't think we had the best service as their booking systems were down, not the staff's fault. The food was just passable. The room was comfortable and clean. There is easy plentiful parking.”

“The 5-night stay was overall comfortable, although there was an issue with controlling the temperature of the hot water shower. It would occasionally become scalding during showers. It would also be wonderful if breakfast could include some fruit. Other than these minor points, it was a delightful stay. When we arrived in the late afternoon, the reception gentleman kindly helped my daughter and me carry our luggage to the room on the 2nd floor.”

“The hotel does not have personnel in the front desk. They said they sent a code by mail. Well, never happened. A hotel needs a front desk, for many reasons. NEVER AGAIN”

“Fresh breakfast, excellent staff! Good location on the edge of the town and lots of places to cycle to, including Puzzlewood which was the main reason for our stay. But there was a mechanical banging noise (like a shoe in a tumble dryer!) from 3.30am both nights we stayed that kept me awake. The whole experience was very 'meh' and we wouldn't recommend unless you are playing golf there.”

“Was not told you have to pay for parking also roo.s were very basic and tatty. Hallways leading to the rooms were more like a youth hostel. Stayed here before and thought it was ok then but this was worse and now with having to pay for parking and unfriendly staff means we wont be coming back again ”
