“Our stay at Varis House was very pleasant as the accommodation provided everything we needed and the house benefits from being well located in Lerwick with the additional benefit of parking. The host was very informative on our arrival and ensured we had everything we required. Breakfast was very much a ‘help yourselves’ affair but there was a wide variety of food, materials for hot drinks and condiments available. All in all a very enjoyable stay.”
“We chose the Queen’s Hotel for its convenient location to restaurants, shopping, and sites in downtown Lerwick. The property is older and still needs some renovation, but the staff — specifically Rory & Pete — were extremely hospitable and helpful. There is no onsite restaurant, but the staff provided great local recommendations that are easily walkable.
We also hired Sandy’s Taxis for transportation from Sumburgh airport and for our sightseeing needs. John was a fantastic driver & offered……
