The hotel was clean and we had a warm welcome at reception. The decor is dated, but signs suggest that the carpets would be replaced soon. Walking to Arundel was possible, but hampered by the area around the hotel not being pedestrian friendly.

Lovely large sized family room. Completely clean & good quality linen. Really quiet, despite road location. Copious tea & coffee supplies too, no rushing to get another tea bag if it split with the silly string thing. Double bed was soft but supportive, the pillows the same. The extra single was an actual bed & not a roll away/sofa bed which removed any moaning from the mini one. Moaning also reduced with having an actual bath, not just a shower. Small wins which made our stay really pleasant. Plus the staff were really welcoming, polite, kind & helpful. Everyone won, would stay again.

Good out of town location with plenty of parking. Quiet rooms with comfy beds and great shower. Staff very friendly and helpful; very good breakfast. Our son recently moved to the area but his flat does not have a spare room, so this may well become our base in the area.
