Room was nice and clean, stuff very friendly and also there are 6 parking spaces that belong to the hotel, always found space available… if not you can leave the car on the street but obviously pay for the parking.

Very comfortable clean and well equipped room. Great bar with an excellent selection of whiskies. Excellent food with a small menu. Good service from a friendly, well informed staff who were a great credit to the hotel. Difficult and limited parking. Will certainly visit again.

We spent a very enjoyable 5 days at The Scotsman. It is ideally situated in the middle of everything Edinburgh has to offer. Our room was spacious, clean and very comfortable. A special shout out to Alan and Theo for taking such good care of us. They were tested by our large family's copious questions and didn't blink. Their suggestions were spot on, and we consider ourselves fortunate to have had their guidance throughout our stay. We will definitely return to the Scotsman next time we are in Edinburgh.
