“This is a nice old hotel. They even upgraded our room for no reason. It is an old building, that’s part of the charm, but very well maintained and up to date furnishings. There’s a cozy restaurant down stairs and the grilled fish was very tasty.”

“A lovely little hotel slightly off the beaten track but within easy distance of Stirling and main routes to the highlands. Beautifully decorated. Excellent breakfast. The pub food is really good too should you need lunch or dinner. It was quite warm and humid when I visited with no a/c, although hotel provided a fan, which was helpful. It’s located at a busy intersection, so there is traffic, but given that it’s located in the country, there is still a sense of peace about it. Highly recommend.”

“Charming historic hotel which has very recently been refurbished to a very high standard. The team at the hotel are very friendly and professional and the food is excellent. There are lots of walks around the hotel in the grounds and the lovely town of Callander on the doorstep. Is dog friendly too and highly recommend / also has a link to the Beatles and has a Beatles inspired bistro which is lovely.”
