"Our only issue was that we arrived at 7:30pm, got checked in by about 8pm and found that the water park and all of the food options were closed for the evening. Also, I was not aware that you have to pay for parking."

"The hotel is very historic and charming. The staff allowed me to check in a couple hours early which was nice. It’s right on the Main Street and a quick walk to all the shops and restaurants. The property is well maintained but there are floorboard creaks due to the age. Note that they don’t maintain front desk coverage 24/7 and you have to use a physical key to get inside after desk hours. "

"Very friendly and helpful staff! The hotel was very clean, smelled great, and offered good amenities like the comfortable lounge/seating areas and patio area, foosball table, coffee station, and gym. The room was super cozy and traveler friendly. Only things I would say is there is no microwave in the room, you have to go down to the lobby, and the website mentioned a shuttle but they do not have a an airport shuttle. Public transportation in Traverse City is horrible so I had Lyft stand me up, Uber wouldn’t even accept, and the taxi service is like $25+ to go anywhere… almost missed my flight if it wasn’t for a nice couple who offered to take me to the airport. Which is a convenient 3.1 miles away. "

"I had a single bed in a small room and it was perfect. The bed was comfortable. I was tired and was out like a light and slept 10 hours! The rate was reasonable and I would be happy to stay there again. They also had a perfectly decent breakfast although i cant eat waffles, they still smelled amazing. "

"Love the soft & fluffy towels! You must use magical soap! The only thing that briefly was bothersome was people running & pounding feet above us at 10:30 Friday night. We called the desk & they promptly took care of it. Thank you!"
