The apartment is actually in the barn, so every morning I was able to open the door and say good morning to the goats and ducks. Our apartment was awesome and very accommodating. We sat by the fire pit every night, loved up the goats, and waded in the creek, such a fun experience. You can also learn to milk a goat!Our hosts also offered classes. Goat milk soap making. Design and make your own full loaf (10 bars) of cold process soap. Materials and handouts provided so you can continue your soap making journey when you go home. Cordage making class: making rope from dried plants that can be used to create a variety of products and Mandala rock painting for beginners. We found perfect smooth river rocks in the creek and learned the techniques used to create beautiful patterns. It was like taking little piece of the haven home with you."
