“The staff are lovely and helpful, sadly the Aircon just made a lot of noise but failed to provide any cool air .... only really a problem during the day as the night was cool. The cabin itself was fine but the gardens and ponds are a bit sad. ”

The only thing that was different was it was warmer than usually in San Jose than in previous years. The rooms were definitely warmer, but we were glad we had ceiling fans. “Daniel and his wife were very kind and accommodating. The property is really great, the way they have it laid out, to feel like a garden area in the back. We especially like the breakfast area !! Breakfast was hearty and yummy. Shuttle service was great. Very conveniently located to the airport. Felt like it was in a neighborhood with an instantly surprised me, but all was good and safe.”

“Best location in Cartago for a hotel. Beds are not Marriott but they are clean and rooms are big enough for 3-4 people. The restaurant is good and not very expensive. The breakfast is nice and when they have the outdoor breakfast bar is probably my favorite experience of this hotel. If you’re going to be in Cartago, this is the best place to say. Very reasonably priced. Most of the staff is bilingual in Spanish and English.”
