“Perfect for a late night arrival into Costa Rica. 4 minutes from the airport (I took a taxi, as they don’t have a shuttle pickup). The staff upon arrival was kind enough to help arrange transport to my next location (a ride to Quepos for $200). The shower was amazing - hot water and fantastic water pressure. And breakfast was the best - Nelly was so kind and the food a perfect introduction to Costa Rican cuisine. Enjoyed the pool under the mango tree. Pura vida!”

“They just finished painting the pool edge...looks great. This is our 3 year at the Trapp Family Inn. The only thing that was different was it was warmer than usually in San Jose than in previous years. The rooms were definitely warmer, but we were glad we had ceiling fans.

“Julio was the absolute best! My husband and I went to Barcelo Tambor for our anniversary. We paid for 6 nights and stayed 4. The staff and people at the resort made it very clear that Americans weren’t welcome. We packed and left to find a hotel in San Jose and we decided on the Wyndham.
