When we first entered the room, we immediately noticed several issues. The air conditioner was leaking water onto the floor, the restroom had no fan, and there were no small towels for bathing. “I loved this hotel! We had the most beautiful floor to ceiling window view of the beach, the favelas and Christ the Redeemer! The hotel was located in a pretty good location a little further from Copacabana and Ipanema but was still a nice neighborhood with Sao Conrado beach right across the street. The amenities at the hotel were great! The breakfast had a lot of options but just was okay. Overall I would book again!”

“The room we got was not as expected. Very dark and noisy from excessive air conditioner units outside kitchenette window. They were very stingy with towels—one bath towel for each person . “The lobby and restaurant are good, but the rooms are awful. I’d booked a room with a sea view. It was dirty, the blanket was stained and there was no bedside table. I hated sleeping there. And to think it’s a 4-star hotel. As it’s on the main road, it’s very noisy, and at the weekend there’s loud music until late at night. In short, give it a miss.”
