The staff is so nice and the place is solid. By that I mean that you don’t have to worry when you book a room at Holiday Inn. Clean, convenient and easy to book.

To say that this was a pleasant stay would be an understatement... As a history buff and my husband in architecture it was the COOLEST hotel in Charleston! A short (adventure) walk away from a historic site and the extremely interesting architecture of the inn together we were very pleased. The only fault with our stay was that it was entirely too short. We WILL be coming back and we WILL be telling all of our friends to stay here! we ate at the restaurant on the historic site and were very...

No wonder all the other motels in the area were virtually empty and the Econo Lodge was w/o a vacancy! Very clean, great rates, quiet, truly hot water, and everything worked. Very accomodating to my senior greyhound mix, what more can I say? If there is a room available, take it!

I loved that it wasn’t a pet friendly facility. I love my dog but she doesn’t stay in hotels with me. Hotels that have a lot of dogs to stay causes the hotels to stink horribly and I prefer clean smelling hotels.

I think this is my 3rd stay here and the same young lady is still there! She is really nice and always has a smile. The hotel is clean and tidy and I find it to be quiet. It's in a great location for dining.

The best area to stay in Cottageville is the central downtown district, particularly around Cottageville Highway (US-17A) and Main Street.
This area is the heart of Cottageville, offering convenient access to local businesses and the town's community park. It's a modest, spread-out area with a few local eateries and shops primarily located along the main thoroughfare. For travelers seeking a quiet stay with direct access to local life, this is the most practical choice.
For solo travelers or couples looking for a relaxed experience away from urban bustle, staying near the downtown district provides a good base. You'll be close to the community park, which offers green space for a stroll, and have easy access to the few local dining options available.
When is the best time to go to Cottageville?
The best time to visit Cottageville, South Carolina, is during the spring (March to May) and fall (September to November) months.

For those planning to attend local events or enjoy outdoor excursions like fishing or kayaking, these periods avoid the intense heat and humidity of summer and the cooler, less predictable weather of winter.
