"Very convenient from Train Station. Transportation is conveniently available from the hotel. Only complaint is that the balding old man who’s working at the front desk at night (Apr 27-28 2026) was rude and was a complete snob. "The staff were very efficient and friendly during check-in. The hotel itself was in a good location, right above the metro "Republique" but was old and not all rooms seemed to have had the refurbishment that was shown in the photos advertising the rooms. It was not sound-proof as we could hear the running of water in the pipes, the rumbling of the underground trains despite windows closed and could hear the shower of the adjacent room too. The bed was comfortable and cosy. The bathroom shower was very small but good shower head pressure. Overall, an OK experience, not such great value for money. Staff compensated us for lack of towels on arrival to the room by giving 5 towels for the 2 of us!"
