“Second stay here, still splendid.”

“We stayed at Bridge of Orchy while hiking the WHW. The room was nice enough but very dated- and not because it’s an old hotel (that is very charming) just perhaps could use a refresh on carpets and such. The bath tub was excellent to soak legs in. The wifi did not work the entire time which was quite annoying as we were relying on that for our trip planning. The staff seemed a bit overwhelmed and annoyed with customers generally and we just found everything very expensive which I suppose is a……

“Decor here was very outdated however we enjoyed our stay here for the following reasons; The bed here was very comfortable. The bar area located by the reception desk had fabulous views of the mountains. And generally the hotel had a warm & cosy feel about it.”

The owners are wonderful people who prepared a 5-star breakfast for our family and complemented it with friendly conversation. Overall, it's a great place for people who want to escape soulless hotel chains and create sweet memories.”

“Check was disorganised, no obvious reception, not prompted that we needed to register for the carpart. We arrived late and it was dark so we didn't see the sign which could have lead to a £100 fine! Food was excellent as was the location. Noisey rooms as people drinking outside at 11.30 pm.”
