“The hotel is close to town and has a shuttle. The staff is exceptional, as is the food and setting. It is the quietest hotel that I have ever stayed. ”

“The Park is definitely a worthwhile splurge. Room was well appointed and the staff was warm and friendly. Kenmare is a great backdrop for a wonderful trip. If I had to make a "complaint" it would be that the carpet is so thick and plush it made pulling the wheeled luggage challenging, but that is not a serious complaint. ”

I took a little carriage ride across the street through the park, saw the Muckross house, saw some old buildings, had some great strolls, and had fun at the spa as well. “The room was very comfortable and clean. Our only critique is that the towels were a bit skimpy and there was no face-cloth, despite only supplying liquid soap. The lobby provides plenty of space for gathering and the location is excellent. Ample parking for those arriving with a car. ”

“So this property is in bad need of a renovation. The carpets of the rooms looks like they’re from the 70s. Still, the doors are very old as well. The windows were rickity and there was construction next door with heavy machinery creating a lot of noise. In the end, we did not stay here. We did ask to cancel and for a refund, but we’ve heard nothing back from the management. My recommendation is find somewhere else to stay.”
