"I made things complicated by having two separate third-party bookings for one night each (separate because plans changed, third-party because I can use Tesco clubcard vouchers) but they were able to arrange for me to move into an (upgraded!) room instead of having to check out and back in later. I enjoyed a lovely ride along the nearby Leeds to Liverpool canal."

"Ignore the bad reviews this place was really good!! The breakfast was a continental so no fine dining or buffet but suffice none the less. The staff were very friendly. I enquired about the price of a room upgrade which was sorted straight away. The building was amazing and had so much character everywhere you looked. Overall we enjoyed every minute of our stay and would definitely return and recommend to others Thank you"

"This is a lovely venue in the heart of Howarth with great access to the local amenities. The accommodation is clean and beautifully presented and the staff and attentive and helpful. Our stay included breakfast which was excellent. Parking is a problem overnight but this is the only issue and did not spoil what was an excellent stay overall."
