“We had a wonderful time! We rode the Aufderheide scenic bikeway and the West Fir lodge was a perfect place to stay. Great food, a comfortable room and a nice place to sit outside and enjoy a drink. We had a lovely time and will be back again. The staff were so accommodating and nice.

“Originally booked double queen. Found out it was on 2nd floor. Asked for 1st floor due to elderly person with mobility issues. Provided keys to room which was not ready for us to see. We had prior obligation in area that kept us from seeing room until evening when no available rooms left. One queen bed. I slept on dirty ripped up sofa. Main light switch in room did not work and outlet was shooting sparks when plugging stuff in. ”

“The decor and cleanliness of this place is stellar. The only thing was that the listing doesn't note the home is directly on a fairly busy street and that meant street noise. This is a great place for someone who doesn't mind that to stay. If you are more of a "peace and quiet" when at home person this can be a bit of an issue.”
