“We had an amazing time during our week at the Spidey Lodge. The place was exactly as described, and we thought the place felt bigger than the sq footage. Every inch of the place and decor was well thought out, and it was more than enough room for our family of 4. The kids fell in love with the Spidey/Marval themed game room/entertainment space that was completed detached from the house. We had a hard time getting them to leave. “We enjoyed our stay at this dog-friendly tiny cabin. The space was very well done, with a nice yard for the dog to enjoy and even a game room, which was a fun bonus. The location was great, and we appreciated the many extras provided for guests—very thoughtful and accommodating touches.There were a few downsides: we noticed a smell in the closet, and unfortunately, there was a yellow jacket nest right by the sliding glass doors, which made things a bit tricky. “Our group of 4 had a wonderful stay at this log cabin home. We loved the large covered porch that overlooked a beautiful view of the mountains and country. The house was secluded and quiet, tucked back into the woods. It was nice that it was close but not on the gravel road. We used the large hot tub, the fire pit and put the well appointed kitchen to good use. Location also had great access to local wineries (Early Mountain and Barboursville) and Shenandoah N.P. for great hikes (recommend South……

“The inside was attractive and clean. The great room was spacious; the two master bedrooms were too. The two downstairs bedrooms were small (no closets at all); both doors were in need of WD-40 (very squeaky). The bunk room has an exterior door that is not well sealed (leaky). As other guests have stated, the air conditioning is not uniform. We made things work for our short stay, but would need something different for a longer stay. The outside amenities looked amazing in the listing.……

“Our trip was perfect! Our group was 9 adults, 3 children and 4 dogs. All three houses were really clean! Baby crawling clean! Each house and yard had everything you could ever want/need. We especially enjoyed the hot tubs and fire pits. The kids all loved the Spidey room, an awesome play space for the adults as well. The detail to dogs was amazing, beds. bowls, blankets, you only need to bring their food. The outdoors were very pretty as well, we even had professional pictures taken on……
