“Amazing lodge, immaculate, cosy, comfy beds, well stocked with everything you need, stunning views and well cared for. It had a Smart TV so you could watch Netflix etc which is what we love. It was only 10-15 min drive to Keswick. One of the nicest lodges we have stayed in and really would recommend it. The lodge is in one of the best plots right opposite the lake. We loved the view in a morning having coffee overlooking the lake, a very impressive lodge. The host was very responsive and……

“It was a pleasure staying here, and I would definitely come back. The place was exceptionally clean—honestly one of the cleanest I’ve ever stayed in. The only downsides were the pillows and the bed. The pillows were too firm and thick, and the bed wasn’t very comfortable. Overall, a lovely place to stay, and I would definitely recommend it to others!”

"I recently stayed at this hotel and had a mixed experience. Unfortunately, the room was not very pleasant—it felt quite outdated and wasn’t as clean as expected, with noticeable spider webs. In addition, it was quite noisy in the morning, which made it difficult to rest properly. On a more positive note, the restaurant staff were excellent. They were very friendly, welcoming, and provided great service, which was definitely a highlight of my stay. Overall, while the staff made a good impression, the condition of the room and the noise levels could really use improvement."
