"The property was great and lots of places to walk my dog. I liked the location, next to the vineyard and easy drive to downtown Newport. My only minor complaint was that I went to the guest services to talk to them about the ants in the kitchen (it rained a lot so I understand ants can happen) and they said they would treat the kitchen that afternoon and they never showed up."

"The cottages were well maintained and quaint in appearance and location. We had to work remotely for a few days which was challenging when meetings occurred simultaneously for my husband and I because there is only setting downstairs (just bed upstairs). It would be nice to know if you have a parking spot in front of your cottage or not when booking. Our cottage required us to park and walk to the cottage which was not a big deal but would have been nice to know when booking for planning...

"This cozy timber frame was the best vacation rental I have booked by far in Martha's Vineyard. The place was just like being at home with the amenities. It has everything you need in the kitchen, closets with hangers, and a nice size shower. The owners are locals and were kind, thoughtful, and responsive. There is no hesitation about returning to this place."

"We had a fabulous time at Cape Cod and this could not have been a more perfect rental for us. The house is so well furnished! Great kitchen supplies, lots of towels, selection of pillows and so comfortable. It was very clean. It was also nice to have a washer and drier with laundry detergent supplied! It’s located a block from the water and an easy walk to downtown in a quiet area. If we’re ever back in the area we’ll certainly want to stay here."

"The location was great, an easy walk to the harbor and bike ride to the beach, and convenient to in-town shopping, restaurants and Woods ice cream by car. The outdoor shower was wonderful! It was a stormy and humid.week and we spent a lot of time indoors. It was a nice little cottage, but would have been much nicer if it were cleaner…we cleaned the screens of dust and cobwebs which made a difference in airflow. We also cleaned the gas grill, which was very dirty, but made the most of it...

"My trip to Mass. for a wedding gave me an opportunity to see 4 different places. This one was by far the best for 1-4 people. I truly enjoyed a peaceful, beautiful, safe and comfortable stay. There are multiple beaches within a very short distance. Gooseberry island was special and I walked it several times. "The furniture was very minimal and not comfortable. The kitchen was pretty well equipped but missing things like potato peelers etc. The house is on a main road so can be very noisy. Our first encounter was that the door codes did not work. We called several numbers to get the property manager who accused us of breaking into the home. Some serious miscommunications between the local and national companies."

"The pictures do not do this place justice. Cute cottage located RIGHT on the water. The screened in porch, with heater, provided protection from the rain and we were able to sit and just listen to the water and the seagulls screeching. Super relaxing. Location is everything. Close to grocery stores and restaurants (all types and all styles). Tons of big fluffy towels and there were even lots of beach towels to use. "We have family that have a home 1 block away so utilized this space to sleep and to escape to when my social battery drained. :). This place was perfect. (And May have the biggest TV I have seen in real life…). Lydia was very responsive and communicative. No issues with check out or check in and even left the lights on for our 9 PM arrival."

Perishables and half eaten food were left in the fridge, linens were visibly soiled, bathroom was dirty and owners toiletries, underwear and clothing were left in the bureau in the main bedroom.
