Davidson Chalets

Nice room. Very clean. Only complaint would be that the heavier curtains don't close all the way and the room stays very bright at night. There is also a strong vibration coming from somewhere and you can not only hear it, but actually feel it through the floor and walls- might be the AC system. It is also very close to the freeway and while that is very convenient, there is quite a bit of traffic noise all night long. It has the best breakfast I've ever seen at a hotel. There's an ice cream...

Overall experience was excellent and the atmosphere was inviting and friendly! Will stay there again when in the area!!

I've stayed at dozens of Hampton Inns. This is reliably like the others, perhaps a bit nicer given it's generous and well-appointed lobby.

Everything was as advertised. The location is very good for the area.

Had a great stay--very clean--staff very pleasant-- felt comfortable --good location--good conversations with staff--will be returning late june & plan on staying again Thanks. Dennis Hepler

Place is comfy, plenty of stores and restaurants. Parking is easy. Breakfast is decent. Waffle machine is great

Amazing hospitality! We stayed for 2 nights. The breakfast was amazing! Make your own waffles, eggs, sausage, fresh fruit, yogurt, cereal, granola, bagels, muffins, toast, scones, juices, milk, coffee and teas. The toiletries are all Paul Mitchell. The pool was open until 11 but no one came and kicked us out at 11 so the kids were super happy until us parents told them it was time to go upstairs for bed lol. McDonald’s is right in front of the hotel, there’s a pizza place behind it, a Starbucks...

Hotel was very nice, new, clean and comfortable. Rooms are clean and comfortable, come with Keurig to make coffee in the morning, come with 2 bottles of water. Staff is very welcoming. Breakfast is very reasonably priced. Overall, great value hotel.

Clean room, maintained property. Wonderful staff.

I absolutely do not nor did I see what those who gave this property a bad rating. I found it to be very good. A truck crashed into the main entrance several months ago and it is still under repair due to unexpected delays by the County permit process and replacing initial contractor. I’d without hesitation stay here again.

Good

Perfect location. We stay one night for a soccer game in Bank of America stadium. Friendly and clean.

This room was walking distance to the track. I will use this hotel for every race I go and watch.

Check in was very quick and the attendants were very friendly. We came from Hickory because we are without power water and internet. We would have stayed again but they are booked so we had to go elsewhere as my husband needs internet for work. I’ll be driving to Morganton which is a crap show with. I water but it’s nice to have a place to go and have working utilities since it may be 2 weeks until we have ours restored.

We were impressed with the cleanliness and the amenities the hotel offered. The staff was welcoming and we had a great time.
