We were one hour outside of Syracuse when I texted the host to ask about keys and a lockbox. I got a text back that stated we were supposed to have been there five days previous. “Beautiful place.Exactly as advertised.”

“This property was not as advertised - it was supposed to be an apartment with a King Size bed and Non-Smoking. It was NOT an apartment. It had a king size bed with dirt on the covers. It stank of smoke. We immediately left the room to check out and while we were talking to the front desk, a dog urinated on the floor in the same area.. We left immediately. I have requested a full refund from the VIRBO owner and have not received anything yet.”

“'On business trip lasting two nights relaxed thanks to peaceful room featuring blackout curtains helping ensure restful sleep after late flights arrived.' Prompt check-ins sped process so no delays happened either.”

“It was very clean, warm room, with comfy beds.”
