“There were several negative reviews of this place that I had just seen after having a proper look. After experiencing my own stay, I was puzzled as to why this place had such good reviews and why these negative points seemed to have been overlooked.
This place couldn’t provide even basic customer service. I emailed them a month before my stay to ask about parking and other information, but I received no reply at all.
The check-in process was almost non-existent. I was simply faced with a key……

“Very friendly place - nothing is too much trouble for the owners and breakfast is delicious. Todmorden centre is a walkable distance away so you can go and have an evening drink there without worrying about driving back.”

“Great location with safe car park.
Friendly staff, good beer selection with every type of Timmy Taylors available.
We stayed in the annex, which is new so very well decorated, clean and spacious.
Full English breakfast was delicious, would definitely recommend.”

“We just did a weekend trip to Leeds and stumbled across this gem on hotel.com. It was the best stay away we have ever had in the UK! The owners were so kind and welcoming, they really do make you feel like you are a member of the family. The house itself was absolutely stunning, the garden was full of flowers with a cute vegetable patch. If you are looking for a place to stay that gives an old English county house vibe this is perfect. I also have a lot of dietary requirements as I am gluten……
