“The Angra Marina Hotel has an amazing view of the harbour, and easy access off of one of the main roads and is a short walk down to the harbour and nearby shops and restaurants. Although be aware that the only entrance to the hotel is at the top of a steep hill and there is no access to/from town from the lower levels. However, the hotel itself is dated and poorly maintained - the elevators say they're going down but go up, the roof paint was peeling in the pool area, the bathrooms in the room……

“Highly recommend Hotel Antillia! The location is perfect, within easy walking distance of the port and the old city centre. Our room was spacious and spotlessly clean, and the staff went out of their way to be helpful. While we skipped the hotel breakfast buffet because it seemed a bit pricey—especially since you can easily get coffee and pastries nearby for half the cost—we did enjoy the bar, which serves decent food for a late snack. Don't miss the spa either; we had a couple of facials that……

“excellent all around. the cleanliness, the friendliness and helpfulness of all the staff, the food was good. the espresso martinis with baileys at the bar with live music every night hit the spot after long days of adventure. the concierge sever, baggage handlers and valet service as great and convenient to maximize your time on the island. this was a beautiful hotel and amazing island. this is a trip worth doing again.”

“Breakfast could be better A/C on the 3rd floor, card must be kept in place because the flow of A/C is weak If you leave the card then the room is confortable when you arrive (during summer period)”
