“Great location, right on the marina. Rooms were spacious, clean and well furnished with fabulous views. Breakfast was very good, with lots of choice and constantly replenished. The Purobeach clubs (one on the beach itself and the other around a separate pool) are a nice touch but not particularly good value for money. Staff are generally very pleasant and helpful with the significant exception of the front desk and the Purobeach reception team, who were bordering on rude and not to the standard……

“Didn't spend a lot of time inside the hotel because there are so much to see in Algarve. Rooms are really spacious and clean with a huge balcony. A relaxing stay except the buffet dinner where you have to check in with the receptionist and then queue at a certain area to wait for seating. Food (not so hot) and ambiance are totally canteen-like. The next day we spent some more to eat at the Japanese restaurant next door which is good in terms of food and service - but you only get 15 Euro credit……

“We stayed in a junior suite with a sea view, which was spectacular to wake up to every morning! The breakfast was plentiful for every taste. We ordered lunch from the menu and had the club sandwich, which was delicious. It was my birthday while we were there and the hotel provided a lovely card and voucher for 2 yummy cocktails from the bar. We were checking out very early on the last day and the hotel kindly prepared a takeaway breakfast, which was lovely.”
