"Gite Legotine, has been beautifully renovated and is completely in the countryside. They have every appliance you can think of so you will feel right at home. The only thing that could do with an upgrade is the TV. Eric and Juilette are very easy to talk with too. "

"Lovely place to stay and explore the local area (you will need a car). Very easy check in, clean place, comfortable beds, spacious lounge, very thoughtful owner with great communication, pool was a godsend in the blazing heat and great protection for the kids with it being covered, nice big garden and everything you need! It's a very peaceful and quiet in the area. The only advice is to bring lots of DEET in summer, the mosquitoes like the taste of English blood, they're vicious!! "

"Stayed here for the first time this summer for 10 days and loved it.Check-in and communication with Gary & Hilary was faultless.And they were incredibly helpful and welcoming when we arrived - offering us lots of tips on restaurants, night markets & places to go.And they provided so much in the gite you wouldn't normally get elsewhere - including pool towels and a really well-equipped kitchen & BBQ area.We absolutely loved the pool area - created in an old barn, it's so lovely and private and when you open the big doors at the shallow end the view across the fields at sunset is fantastic.Wouldn't hesitate to return and would thoroughly recommend a stay here."

"An absolutely charming location and fantastic hosts. Lodge du Mayne is perfect for people looking for a peaceful getaway in a stunning location. Our hosts were incredibly helpful and kind but without being intrusive in any way. The accommodation is lovely, with all utensils, appliances etc provided. The pool was a fantastic addition and set in beautiful surrounds. Take advantage of the central location to visit the numerous villages and castles in the area and make sure you have at least one meal at the restaurant in Gavaudun (L’Essentiel). Would absolutely recommend this property to anyone looking for a peaceful escape from it all."
