“The beds were far too soft, the base had springs rising up in it and was stained, looked years old. I shared a superior twin room with a friend for one week, the friend who I was with had to put the mattress on the floor after the first night due to back ache, there was no provision for a new base. By the end of the week my neck and shoulders were painful. Apart from this the staff were helpful, the room and hotel was clean, the view from our sea view room could not have been better, breakfast……

“We had a superior sea facing suite, but on entrance we were disappointed and unsure if we had been given the correct room. It was located on the first floor and at the end of the main building. At first sight it all looked great but soon it became apparent that more care is required. Dents in floor, old, sagging furniture, balcony floor stained, a very small tv in the lounge, just a general feel.
