“A must go midway place if you travel from Londonderry to Dublin (or vice versa). Reasonable price & good food in the bar & restaurant. If you drive there, your car can be parked next to your room, extremely convenient. ”

“Food great, bar great, room good. Problem..no wi fi working and normal phone service non existent in the building. Had to step outside. No tv remote. Only had shower gel in shower, nothing in sink. No iron but there was ironing board!”

“The car park is a very cramped underground area. The toilet broke during our (one night) stay. The shower was either extremely cold or extremely hot. Church bells nearby ring every 15 minutes from early morning to quite late at night. The location is in the centre of town. The room was clean. Breakfast was good. Staff were friendly. You get what you pay for.”

“The hotel itself is very good...very quiet place..did not use the Spa but looked impressive. The breakfast was really good, I also dined in the 'Terrace' also good. Only thing was the 'Sadlier' bar was closed (on a Thursday) which I thought was strange given the hotel was fairly full. The room was very spacious , a little dated decor but nice nevertheless. I would return here.”

“There is bar on the bottom of the rooms, too noisy, and people talking outside until late, and smoking. 😞”

“Overall, it is a nice hotel but we had some challenges with the amenities. It offered A/C which was a rare treat, but it only worked in one of the two rooms. We were excited to see ice machines, but couldn’t find one that worked. The tvs only got 7 channels and we had to call the office to get the room next to us to quiet down after being repeatedly woken up. The food and and drink at the restaurant were good and the place was clean and people friendly, but we were disappointed.”

“Lovely town. Walkable to many great restaurants and also the train which we easily took to Dublin!”

“Rooms were clean, but noisy, the windows did not open fully, and it was hot inside, and the hotel did not have A/C in rooms. Only given two bath towels. Bed was comfortable, but pillows flimsy. Great bar and pub, good for dinner, but breakfast was so so. The staff was okay”
